Hi, I´m Mariana. As a UX/ UI designer with a deep understanding of Frontend Development I aspire to improve user lives by designing with intuitiveness and simplicity. Having a background in Architecture & Urban Design I have learned how to meet the needs of the users as well as those of the clients, stakeholders and developers without giving up on aesthetically pleasing designs.

I enjoy working through every detail of the creation process from researching to developing the experience, always with the user as my center piece. I believe that well thought design can help create positive and memorable experiences for user interactions on the web and on any type of device.

I grew up in Mexico from a Brazilian mom and a Mexican dad. I moved to the Bay Area, USA in 2015, where I have now formed my own international family (adding French-Caribbean into the mix). Having lived and interacted with places and people from different places I have learned to have an open mind for different cultures and backgrounds. It has also given me the ability to quickly adjust to new challenges and bring it into my designs.

In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, my toddler and my baby; as well as staying home and enjoying good food and movies. Before the pandemic hit I would always try traveling to visit family or to a new unknown place every year. I hope we can start that again soon!
